Even though there is no certainty of who specifically invented this drink, today the Hilton Hotel represents the origin of the pina colada! They have a nice sign outside where they announce themselves as the inventors of the pina colada in 1963 by Ramon Portas The reality is that 3 amazing humans came together to create this delicious drink that combines rum, pineapple, and coconut to make this delicious drink! This drink is not only sweet and delicious but its refreshing, for those hot summers in Puerto Rico! This drink recipe was shared all over the world!
