This month, we celebrated our roots with something truly special: our brand-new NuevalYoL merch line and a limited-edition coffee blend! The spirit of our NuevalYoL collection. Our shirts, hats, and tote bags brings the soul of Puerto Rico to life, just like Bad Bunny does through his music. It seems that art imitates reality, and Bad Bunny wrote the song that describes the story of 787 Coffee.
Our story began with a dream in 2014, when we started Hacienda Iluminada in the heart of Maricao, Puerto Rico. We partnered with the local community, and together we survived the devastation of Hurricane Maria, rebuilding our coffee farm, but more importantly uniting the hearts of our island and planting seeds of hope to beautiful humans in Maricao becoming stronger than before. This resilience carried us to New York City, where a tiny coffee shop on E 7th Street became the fruits that started our nationwide growth. The NuevalYoL merch means so much to us because it's a reflection of the humans and culture of Puerto Rico creating a meaningful impact to the world. It is a tribute to the diverse, edgy, and always caffeinated humans who make up the 787 Coffee community.
At the heart of our collection is our first-ever limited-edition coffee blend, a true latino masterpiece. This blend combines freshly roasted coffee beans from our farm Hacienda Iluminada and specialty coffee beans from Mexico and Colombia. Each region contributes a unique flavor to the best coffee blend: the rich dark chocolate notes of Puerto Rico, the smooth caramel of Mexico, and the delightful fruity notes of Colombia. This blend is a farm-to-cup experience. Thanks to your support, 787 Coffee continues to grow. We're thrilled to announce our expansion into Houston and are even more excited to be opening our first international coffee shop in Mexico City! This is just the beginning of our vision to open 100 coffee shops nationwide and internationally, sharing our farm to cup journey to a city near YOU.
