Ever wondered what gives 787 coffee its uniquely sweet and rich flavor? It's our special honey process. This magical method leaves a thin, sweet layer of fruit pulp on the bean as it dries. As the coffee bean soaks up these natural sugars while sun-bathing on an African bed, it develops a uniquely sweet and smooth flavor. This slow, careful process results in a cup of our specialty single origin coffee with a richer, deeper flavor. made directly from our farm Hacienda Iluminada in Maricao, Puerto Rico.
We use this honey process because it perfectly complements a medium roast, bringing out natural sweetness with notes of caramel and red fruit without making the coffee too strong.
