💛 The Heart Behind the Beans: Meet Brandon Peña
Brandon Peña, CEO and founder of 787 Coffee, wasn’t born into the business world. His journey started humbly — working his first job at a fast-food restaurant to help support his family. That’s where he learned hustle, gratitude, and how to show up with purpose every day.
Brandon went on to become a TV host and producer in Mexico, first at XEJ-TV and later with Televisa in Mexico City, where he created impactful stories that resonated with audiences across the country. It was there that he fell in love with storytelling and the power of media to connect people.
He eventually launched his own advertising agency — and later sold it, not for a glamorous exit, but to follow a deeper calling. That calling led him back to his roots: coffee, culture, and community. Brandon along with our co-founder Sam Sepulveda bought a coffee farm in Maricao, Puerto Rico, and started building what would become a movement.
He didn’t just want to sell coffee — he wanted to share a story. A story of hard work, of local farmers, of Puerto Rican, latino pride. That’s how 787 Coffee was born
